Two more ragged, rockabilly, shouty and short numbers from the proto-Bad Seeds. I can't remember when or why I bought this, but I think it would have been around the time Henry's Dream came out, so 1992. Therefore, I was 15 and had some disposable income.
Given that I don't recall being that impressed with it at the time, I wonder why I also bought the Release The Bats E.P., which features both these songs. Ach well, they're quite good fun. Release The Bats has the edge, with the images of "a hundred [bats] fluttering in your skirt", "pump them up and explode the things", and the deranged howling finale, "sex horror sex bat sex sex horror sex vampire"! Dark, disturbing and sexy. That's Nick Cave all over I guess.
Both tracks are on the reissue of Junkyard, and numerous compilations released years later, in the same manner as the Nick The Stripper single (reviewed here).
