Side A have been lifted straight from the album Any Gas Faster, which is up next, so I'll leave those just now.
Side B is an important and unusual Bevis release though, being live. The next, and only other, Bevis live release was 1999's Live at the Great American Music Hall, and none of tracks from that release feature here. That live line-up in full:
Nick Saloman: Guitar, Vocals
Rod Goodway: Guitar, Vocals
Adrian Shaw: Bass
Martin Crowley: Drums
I've Got Eyes... is frantic and brilliant, and about twice the speed of the original, which was a pretty fast tune to start with, and sounds great in a live setting. As does the blues workout Mediaeval Sienese Acid Blues, also from 1987's Inner Marshland album, although with Rod singing instead of Nick, it sounds a bit odd. Rod also sings the final track, which is just an excuse for long guitar-jams, but is ruined by a long drone that either Rod or Nick is wringing from their 'axe'. Regardless, this release is well worth the Bevis fan picking up.
